Back again this year with their crowd-favourite installation, Sea the Light, come get creative with the whole family decorating your own lanterns, before releasing them into the dark sea of the alleyway at Bukit Pasoh. Put away the phones and tablets, and let Lighting Detectives show you the magic of what happens when the sun goes down, and the lanterns start glowing.
All materials will be provided.
This workshop is family-friendly and great for all ages.
To note: Limited to 10 pax per session.
About Lighting Detectives
The Lighting Detectives is a non-profit group dedicated to the study of lighting culture through practical methods, mainly by engaging in fieldwork. Established in 1990, Tokyo, and globalized since 2000. As of 2015, Lighting Detective membership totaled 500 members, with 380 Japanese members, 120 international members. Cities all over the world today are full and overflowing with light. The goal of the Lighting Detectives is to shift the value of light from quantity to quality. And, the Lighting Detectives feel it is important to work together with a wide range of people who are interested in lighting, instead of those just professionally associated with the field.
